Earth Law

This talk explores the relationship between human laws, Earth Law and Restorative Justice. Though we need human laws we have ample evidence that they are not protecting the planet. They are concerned with humans, their rights and their properties. They are designed to limit the amount of damage we humans can do to nature.

We need to turn to the Laws of nature that have existed time immemorial and still exist today. Human laws should flow from the law of nature, not the other way around.

This talk also deal with restorative justice. Imbedded in many indigenous cultures it sees an offense not as violating something written in a book but as the breaking of a relationship with the community, including the Earth community. Restorative justice, based upon Earth democracy, helps us restore our relationship with Earth.
